Dizziness
Dizziness is feeling faint or lightheaded to feeling weak or unsteady. Dizziness that creates the sense that you or your surroundings are spinning or moving is called vertigo. Some people may feel very nauseated or vomit. Trouble walking or standing or loss of balance is also associated with dizziness and vertigo.
Acupuncture Treats Dizziness
Acupuncture can increase the body’s natural production of endorphins and white blood cells to stimulate natural pain killers and harmonize the central nervous system. This releases chemicals into the muscles, spinal cord and brain to reduce pain and increase the body’s ability to heal. These biochemical changes support the body’s natural healing abilities, improve circulation, and promote physical and emotional well-being. Angie will also look for underlining conditions, including ears, sinuses and more..
Acupuncture Effective in Treating Dizziness
Acupuncture is very effective in treating dizziness. Treatment frequency and number of treatments needed depend on a variety of factors; the severity and duration of the symptoms and the quality and quantity of your Qi. Some people experience immediate relief; others may take weeks or even months to achieve results. Angie may suggest one or two treatments per week, or monthly visits for health maintenance and seasonal “tune-ups”.
